Wednesday 13 july we started with the first steps to reopen a shop of a local entrepreneur in Oriental Mindoro. In collaboration with this store we want to stimulate the sale of local products.

The intention of the Sari Sari store is that it will function as a kind of supermarket and thus generate an income for the owner. The starting budget of € 300 will be used for refurbishing and furnishing the store. The revenue will again be used for reinvestment. In the long run, the profit will benefit the projects we are working on in the area, such as refurbishing and maintaining the Bulbugan primary school.

This project is the first project aimed at supporting local entrepreneurs. In this way we want to help local entrepreneurs financially but also administratively to run their business successfully and to teach them to think like entrepreneurs.
