After Typhoon Opong, the parents and residents of the barangay once again showed how strong their sense of community is. Together, they began cleaning and restoring the school so that the children can once again learn in a safe and clean environment. Their dedication and teamwork are a wonderful example of resilience and commitment.

At the same time, the first steps have been taken to make our long-cherished dream come true: the construction of a library and play center for the students of Leonardo Delos Reyes Elementary School. This space will become a place where children can read, play, explore, and further develop their talents.

We have already received a beautiful sketch from our generous donor, which helps us move forward with detailed planning. The location for the building has been approved and equipped with the necessary permits — a significant milestone in this process.

We now wait with confidence until we have enough resources to begin construction. Our plan is to carry out the project step by step until it eventually becomes a fully equipped library and function room that both the students and the community can enjoy.
