New Farm Project Launched
How wonderful is that? 💚
Sometimes, wonderful partnerships begin when you least expect them.
At the end of August, we came into contact with Mr. Jun Fernández Deloviar. What started with an introduction and a few conversations soon developed into an interesting new partnership within our SAN FARM project.
From the very beginning, we were fascinated by his way of working. We learned about his experience, his knowledge of farming, and the way he manages different farming projects. We never doubted his knowledge and capabilities. Other investors also have confidence in Jun and trust him to manage and run their farming projects.
We are now almost three months into our partnership, and everything is going very well. Jun has his own way of working and brings his own knowledge, techniques, and experience. That is exactly what makes this partnership so valuable to us.
Learning from Each Other 🌱
For Stichting Ama Namin, SAN FARM is about much more than simply growing and harvesting fruits and vegetables. We want to work together with local farmers, exchange experiences, and discover how we can strengthen and support one another.
What makes this even more special is that Vhon Dutch SANFarm can also learn from this partnership.
Every farmer has their own experiences, techniques, and ideas. One way does not necessarily have to be better than another. By learning about each other’s methods and sharing knowledge, new ideas can develop and we can continue to grow together. 🌱🤝
And of course, this works both ways. What we learn at one farm can, wherever possible, also be applied at the other.
One Greater Goal 💚
Although both farms have their own way of working, they ultimately share the same important goal: to build a sustainable source of income that can help support our school projects.
Through our farming projects, we want to create opportunities for farmers and their families, while at the same time building a system in which our different projects can strengthen and support one another in the future.
We are also looking ahead to our planned food court. In the future, fruits and vegetables from our farms could potentially be used directly and prepared in different dishes and products.
Step by step, we hope to create a meaningful cycle:
from the land to our projects, and from our projects back to the community.
The farms can continue to grow, farmers and their families can benefit from new opportunities, our food court can make use of locally grown produce, and the proceeds can help us continue supporting our projects for children and schools.
For us, that is what SAN FARM is ultimately about: not only sowing and harvesting on the land, but also sowing opportunities for the future. 🌱
And How Did It All Begin?
So how did we actually come into contact with Jun? What did we see in his way of working? And how did that first meeting eventually develop into this partnership?
Of course, we will share that story with you as well.
Learning together, growing together, and building something for the future together. 💚🌱
