Severe damage to projects in Mindoro
🌪 HELP US AFTER THE TYPHOON!
The recent typhoon has caused severe damage within our community and to ongoing projects. We are committed to supporting affected families and restoring essential facilities as quickly as possible.
Your support is invaluable. With a financial contribution, you directly help us provide relief and continue our work for children, parents, and youth.
One of the most urgent needs: the covered gymnasium of E. de los Reyes Elementary School in Mansalay, Oriental Mindoro suffered heavy damage. Most of the roof has been blown away, leaving the space unsafe for the children.
Together with Foundation Ama Namin, we aim to repair this as soon as possible.
Children deserve a safe place again to learn, play, and come together.
🙏 Your support makes a difference!
Every contribution – big or small – helps restore the roof and give the school a future again.
Together, we can bring hope and perspective in this difficult time.
****** UPDATE ******
Last night, September 30, 2025, I made an urgent appeal after receiving photos from E. De los Reyes School. Even before the typhoon, communication was difficult due to frequent power outages and a very weak signal. Then the typhoon struck, and only a few days later—last night around 1:30 a.m.—I received a call from our volunteers.
They shared with me what they had experienced: some families no longer have a home, while others have lost their roofs.
The damage is therefore greater than we initially thought, and we also want to help our volunteers to start over and have a roof over their heads again. That is why we are asking you to spread our message further, so we can reach more people.
It is not only in Mansalay where the situation is serious; we are also receiving calls for help from other regions affected by different calamities.
